Tuftistry
A one-woman tufted rug studio building a name on custom commissions. The brand needed to feel like craft, not a hobby, without pricing itself out of the market it was trying to reach.

What we started with.
- 01
Position Tuftistry as a considered craft studio, not another Instagram tufting account.
- 02
Deliver a wordmark that reads on a woven care label, a shipping box and a phone screen.
- 03
Set a visual system that lets the rugs — not the branding — do the talking.
How we worked it out.
- 01
Custom serif wordmark drawn from scratch, with a soft ligature between the two t's that nods to yarn loops without being literal.
- 02
Palette pulled from the studio's own wool stock — bone, ink, rust and a warm gold — so brand and product photograph as one thing.
- 03
Care labels, hang tags and shipping stickers built as one small kit the studio can reorder without a designer in the loop.
What shipped.
- 01
A studio identity clients photograph and post themselves — free distribution without prompting.
- 02
Commission enquiries moved from 'how much for a rug' to briefs with references, budgets and rooms attached.
- Custom serif wordmark + monogram
- Woven care label & hang tag artwork
- Packaging & shipping sticker kit
- Palette + photography direction
